What our users are saying...
At first I was a little sceptical about how Edpreciate would help my school as I've seen staff shout outs not always working. I can honestly say that it has been such an important way of capturing and recognising the little moments of brilliance that happen all the time. When you walk past a teaching assistant delivering a great phonics session or someone helps you out when they didn't have to or you see someone deescalating a child before they reach crisis- you can just drop them a little recognition. I know how much of a lift it gives you to receive them as well- especially as the Headteacher- it's really good for your wellbeing to be appreciated. As a school, it's helped us to focus not only on the problems but on how many great things happen in school and how interdependent we are all on each other. I would definitely recommend this app to any school looking to improve wellbeing.
There’s been such a buzz around school since we started using Edpreciate, staff are feeling really valued. It’s helping my wellbeing because I’m being acknowledged for the little things I’ve done that I didn’t think anyone else had noticed, then I get an email saying I’ve received a post, and it just makes me feel good. Edpreciate is putting a smile on everyone’s face.
When I receive a post I feel happy knowing I have helped someone or feel appreciated. Before we started using Edpreciate so many good contributions were overlooked but not now!
The tags feature has allowed me to communicate priorities that we're working on without having to 'nag' by email. I've been able to recognise colleagues individual contributions to these goals which may have otherwise gone unnoticed or at least been overlooked. Edpreciate is bringing our strong team even closer together.
Edpreciate is a fantastic tool to keep everyone motivated. Those little reminders that you are doing a great job and that you are appreciated really makes your day! During a busy day it may not always be possible to see your colleagues face to face so a quick post on Edpreciate is a great way to let them know that they are a valuable part of the team.
Receiving an email to say you've been recognised puts a smile on my face. Working in schools can be challenging and it's certainly tiring, but the pick-me-ups that come unexpectedly for things that I've done act as fuel to keep going, especially towards the end of a half term or term.
I've had a new staff member start in the office this academic year (2024-25) and Edpreciate has been brilliant in helping me to build a strong team rooted in collaboration and gratitude. I would highly recommend Edpreciate as it's given us a whole-school approach to contributing to a better workplace culture where everyone is feeling valued and motivated.
